Another attempt at baby clothing construction

I already tried sewing something for the expected baby, so I thought I'd switch things up and give knitting a shot. (Also, the next thing I want to sew involves snaps, which I've never used before. This knitting pattern looked easier.)

Here is the result. It's not blocked yet, but it probably won't look much different once it is. I find that things rarely do (in spite of what knitting books and magazines tell me).

I got this pattern from "The Expectant Knitter" by Marie Connolly.
