T-shirt. Dress. Part 2.

I found a fun party dress fabric in my stash. I'm hoping it will work as a skirt. But even if the material is too stiff and heavy to work with the soft bamboo shirt, I'm hoping to at least use it for a ruffle on the skirt. A suivre . . .

Who knew we could have good and bad hair days this young?

T-shirt. Dress.

The mission: to turn this child's size 5 t-shirt into a dress of some kind.

The challenge: limited amount of time, and the fact that the t-shirt is made of a none-too-sturdy bamboo fabric.

Inspiration:
- A cool idea, but sortof the opposite of what I'm trying to do right now; want to try one sometime soon though
- Quite like this one

I found another cute one that added a long skirt with a ruffle to prolong the life of a too-short t-shirt, but I can't find that blog now.

Springtime!

For me, spring means it's time to take the baby to the park. And maybe time to find a few hours to make something new? I'm thinking that a t-shirt that fits me can be modified to be a dress for a four year old. I'm sure someone else out there has done it . . . time to go look for some links.
